Focus of activities:
I am passionate about the French language and culture, which is also reflected in my career. After completing a dual degree program in German and French at the University of Oldenburg and ESC Bretagne Brest, I began my professional career in 2007 at the Düsseldorf branch of a large French auditing firm. I then moved to the chairs of business taxation at Helmut Schmidt University and the International Tax Institute at the University of Hamburg.
From 2016 to 2021, I had the opportunity to work in Hamburg as a tax manager at a medium-sized and a large auditing firm, providing tax advice to medium-sized companies in the “old” and “digital economy” (focus on structuring advice/international tax law/sales tax law),
to help set up a tax policy department and to continue my teaching and publishing activities (tax journals).
In 2021, the trust company gave me the opportunity to return to my old home, the Weser-Ems region. I remain true to my focus (international tax law, sales tax law, transaction consulting) here and also deal with the taxation of public companies. I recharge my batteries for my work with motorcycle tours.

Focus of activities:
My aim is to provide advice that is not only legally excellent but also economically sound.
A native of Delmenhorst with family ties to Bremen and Oldenburg, I returned to my home region of Weser-Ems after studying law in Göttingen to complete my legal clerkship – and I have remained closely connected to the area ever since. I have been a fully qualified lawyer since June 2008. I first practiced as an attorney within a medium-sized group of companies comprising auditors, tax advisors, and lawyers. From 2014 to 2021, I served as partner and managing director in this group.
In addition, I held a senior role in the public sector with both managerial and wide-ranging legal responsibilities.
I look forward to tackling challenging tasks and complex issues, and to providing comprehensive legal advice in this context.

Coming from the Emsland region, the Weser-Ems region is particularly close to my heart. After graduating from a business-oriented grammar school in Papenburg, I moved to Osnabrück to study law. It was clear to me early on that I wanted to provide legal advice to medium-sized companies after my studies so that I could use my knowledge and skills to help our region remain a growth region. In line with this vision, I focused my studies on corporate and capital market law. For several years, I was an honorary member of the board of the Osnabrück Legal Tech Forum, which I founded with interested fellow students and with which we jointly organized events in the field of legal tech and digitalization in law at the university.
After my first state examination in 2022, I began my legal clerkship in the same year with various stations in Emsland, Osnabrück and Oldenburg before successfully passing my second state examination in December 2024.
After my admission to the bar, I am now ready to fulfill my vision of strengthening companies from our region. At Treuhand, I will be primarily responsible for advising companies on corporate law and tax matters.

Actively and positively supporting change – that’s what motivates me. With 15 years of experience in insolvency administration, including 3 years as an insolvency administrator, I advise companies so that they can recognize crisis situations early on, avert them and create new prospects.
Because by making optimum use of the instruments of the Insolvency Code, a crisis does not necessarily mean the end, but also the opportunity for a new beginning. I also like to actively promote positive change in my free time. As an honorary board member of the redevelopment advisory board, I am committed to the urban development of my home town.

Treuhand has been a consistent thread throughout my professional journey. I laid the groundwork with my training as a tax assistant at Treuhand. Following this, I pursued my law degree at the University of Münster. During my semester breaks, I continued to apply and deepen my practical knowledge at Treuhand.
Having spent part of my legal clerkship at Treuhand and immediately starting my career as a lawyer here after passing my second state examination, I can confidently say: I never really left – true to my motto: “Once Treuhand, always Treuhand.”

More of a generalist than a specialist, I primarily advise medium-sized businesses in the northern German region. I handle all aspects related to businesses and entrepreneurs, from company formation to the cessation of economic activites. Additionally, I am dedicated to advising entrepreneurs on business succession planning, as well as the drafting of wills and powers of attorney.
For areas beyond my expertise, I collaborate with internal or external specialists. I also provide guidance on data protection and money laundering issues. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, engaging in sports, and cooking.

Another focus is providing comprehensive advice to foreign companies operating in Germany or seeking to enter the German/European market.
In collaboration with the extensive personal network of our HLB colleagues in over 150 countries, I offer concise and cost-effective advice across a wide spectrum of clients, ranging from partnerships to publicly traded companies.
